Whitey's Jolly Kone, West Sacramento, CA - September 10, 2024 Went in at 11 AM (opening time) to grab a couple burgers and fries to take to the park for lunch. We ordered online for an 11:15 pick up. When we arrived at 11, we were the first ones to receive our order. We got the Whitey's Special, which has two patties with bacon and cheese on a nice fresh bun. Delicious! The fries are also very tasty. They have nice covered outdoor seating at benches that gives that 1950's burger joint feel. The service is always very friendly and the food quality is par excellance! Do yourself a favor and enjoy a nice burger at Whitey's. They're 2 minutes off the freeway at the Jefferson exit from I-80. You'll be glad you did!

Been wanted to come here for a while. I got the single deluxe burger, next time I'll get the double deluxe burger or the bigger burger. Fries are perfect and a good size. Service was fairly quick. Lots of picnic tables (about 12) with umbrellas and misters on the overhang for hot days. Very nostalgic, been here since 1963.

Wonderful local spot for burgers. Great shakes as well. Towns need to preserve these small local spots

It's cool to step back in time a bit and visit an old-fashioned burger stand. I grew up in West Sacramento, so Whitey's was a staple, especially their breakfast sandwiches. Alas, they no longer serve breakfast, but I make it a point to stop here for lunch on my occasional visits to West Sacramento. I always get the Whitey's Special (two 1/8lb beef patties, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, and mayonnaise) for $6.75. Not a bad deal for a tasty burger. This is the first time I have ordered online. I placed my order about 7:30 in the morning for the earliest pickup time of 11:15. My order was ready when promised, and the service was friendly. Picnic tables in front provide a place to sit if you want to eat there, but I usually take mine to go.

I live right down the street from this place and drive by it all the time. Decided to stop by after seeing something about their peach shakes. They are so good and fresh! This place was packed on a Wednesday night. We also got a coffee Oreo shake and French fries. We will definitely be back more! I love how affordable it is too.

Went to check this place out for lunch after it was highlighted in the Sac Bee recently. First off great parking and easy access off the 80. Classic hamburger stand aesthetic. Prices seemed extremely reasonable, got a Whitey special and the famous peach milkshake. Misters made the eating area pleasant and you pick up your order from the window Whitey special was good!. Super clean tastes with really good bacon. The peach milkshake was an amazing flavor. Would come back again in a heartbeat.

We visited Whitey's for dinner on a Friday evening and had a great experience. We ordered two big burgers with a side of curly fries, and two milkshakes (one strawberry and one peach). Although we waited 40 minutes for our food due to the long line, it wasn't a big deal as we went for a drive in the meantime. Whitey's offers plenty of seating with picnic tables, misters, and fans to keep you cool, which was much appreciated on a 100+ degree summer day. The burgers were huge and the curly fry portions were generous enough to share. The staff was friendly and attentive despite the heat. This is a fantastic burger place, and we will definitely be back to try more items on the menu!

I've been hyped to come eat here since I've heard people talk about it, I always see the lines, and it's popular on the 'Tok. They play nice classic music from the 50's and 60's which really gives you a retro vibe. They had a line right at opening! Their hours are a bit strange but luckily they are open on Saturdays now. They have tables in front of the ordering area so you can enjoy your meal. The parking lot is decently sized and the employees are friendly. The flavor of the burger was amazing. It's like one of those 'crushed' patties, almost reminds me of a juicy BBQ cookout burger on Fourth of July. The curly fries were extra crispy and had great flavor. The Oreo milkshake was authentic™, it used real ice cream and even had bits of Oreo in it. It was very thick but I enjoyed it, especially since they give you a straw capable of sucking it. The prices are amazing. Regular burgers are like $3? Better than McDonald's or In-N-Out prices now. Some "gourmet" burgers at like Burgers and Brew are like $15 so these are a steal! You can walk out of here full for under $20 for a meal for two which is unheard of in 2024. Inflation hasn't gotten to Whitey's yet and I hope it never does. I will most definitely be coming back. Bottom Line/TLDR: great burgers and even better prices.
